I was looking for something simular to this and decided to use the sauce recipe with what I had on hand. I made the sauce as directed, stir fried a bag of the carrot and broccoli cole slaw (bought in a bag in the salad section of the grocery) then added a cup of brown rice and tossed. I also stir fried some strips of steak as a topper. Came out pretty good! I didnt add the almonds. I bet this would be good with broccoli!

Luv it! Simple, Fast, Tasty. I used the sauce with a bunch of vegies for a very yummy stir-fry.

This is a GREAT way to make broccoli- even my 2 year old ate some! I used brown sugar b/c that's what I had, and fresh ginger. YUM!

This was an easy, tasty broccoli dish that, as promised, retained it’s beautiful green color. Leftovers, however, did not fare well with broccoli and almonds alike turning an unsightly soy sauce color. If you are a broccoli lover, you probably won’t have leftovers anyway!

I have tried a large number of recipes on this site, and I believe this is the first vegetable side dish that I've given 5 stars. I made the recipe as is, and it is the best broccoli that I have ever tasted. Thanks!

This recipe has so much flavor and is so good. I had some extra stuff around that i added. I put in some shredded chicken soaked in soy sauce, green peppers, and celery. I only used about 3 cups of broccoli and then served it over brown rice. It was so great!

This was a very good dish. It was easy to make and had a great, full flavor. I love serving fresh, healthy vegetable and get tired of the 'same ol same ol.' This definitely was a good change. I might sub the almonds for sesame seeds. But it is't necessary.

This was very good. My daughter who never eats broccoli finished off the bowl of it. Will definitely be making this again.

Definatly a family favorite. Can never seem to make enough. Everytime I invite friends or family over for supper this dish is always asked for. Thanks for a broccoli recipe that my kids will eat...believe me that is quite an accomplishment.

Easy, Simple, and Delicious. Everyone loved it! The almonds give it a nice flavor and texture....just make sure not to burn them when you toast them or they will taste...well, burnt.

I wasn't sure how this would turn out, but it was really tasty. It was a great match for the Ginger Steak recipe I got from this website.

This was very good, lots of taste. I halved the recipe for the 2 of us. Also, after adding the soy/sugar mixture I added a little water, covered and steamed it to be a little more tender. Lastly added the lemon juice and toasted almonds. -Susie
