Almond Broccoli Stir-Fry

SUBMITTED BY: Margery Bryan

"The broccoli retains its lovely green color when stir-fried, so this dish is not only easy to make but pretty to serve. The almonds add a nutty crunch that everyone really likes."

This was very good, lots of taste. I halved the recipe for the 2 of us. Also, after adding the soy/sugar mixture I added a little water, covered and steamed it to be a little more tender. Lastly added the lemon juice and toasted almonds. -Susie

This recipe has so much flavor and is so good. I had some extra stuff around that i added. I put in some shredded chicken soaked in soy sauce, green peppers, and celery. I only used about 3 cups of broccoli and then served it over brown rice. It was so great!

This was a very good dish. It was easy to make and had a great, full flavor. I love serving fresh, healthy vegetable and get tired of the 'same ol same ol.' This definitely was a good change. I might sub the almonds for sesame seeds. But it is't necessary.
