Easy and absolute comfort! Consider not adding salt to the meat browning step if you use a packaged broth instead of homemade. Adjust the salt to taste at the end.

This is a great recipe for a Halloween party or for any fall party. Served with a great antipasto salad and chunks of fresh German bread and sweet butter..heaven. I use olive oil rather than canola and I use half beef and half pork cubes that have been very well browned until they are almost crispy. I also add turnips and rutabagas quarted and I do use the biggest pumpkin I can find. For desert I make Witches Cake served with pumpking ice cream.
