I used the basic recipe and then added some leftover ground turkey that was seasoned for tacos, a can of chopped green chilis, and corn. It cooked in my 6 quart oval slowcooker and browned nicely around the edges. This made a meal that was ready when I got home from work. My whole family enjoyed it. Thank you for the recipe.

Delicious both times I've made it! Followed recipe exactly the first time (did not stir, pre-cooked macaroni, followed all directions as written) and it came out perfectly. But since there is never such a thing as too much cheese, I added one cup of cubed Velveeta the second time, and it came out perfectly, again, but cheesier!

Good recipe...Only needed two hours on high. Also, I added the pasta uncooked and stirred about every half hour, and it was perfect!

Well I made it according to the directions and this is the first recipe I have tried from this site that did not turn out well. Pretty nasty texture. I will try again with the other suggestion.
