Delicious! I love the consistency. I don't have flaxseed and have no idea what it's for, so I didn't use it. I used pineapple juice instead of milk, used a whole serving 3/4 cup of frozen yogurt, with a handful of mixed frozen raspberries and blackberries, and another handful of mixed frozen strawberries and bananas. I also used the 2 tbs protein powder and 6 ice cubes. It was delicious! Yogurt is good for digestion, so is fiber from all the fruit, not to mention Vitamin C for immune system. Yum!

I pretty much used this as a base and made a few substitutions. I doubled the batch and used the flax seed as directed, 1 cup 1% milk, 1 cup fat free vanilla yogart, 2 small bananas (and they were SMALL!) and 3 sliced nectarines. I froze the fruit the night before so it would be extra frothy. They were great and very filling! My husband didn't think he would like it, but he did! Next time I think I'll use a berry blend

I am pregnant and this is a good way to get in lots of vitamins and fruit together in the mornings. I use fresh fruit (berries or peaches and half a banana) and I just use my immersion blender to quickly whip this up with minimal cleanup. Thanks for a great recipe.

I've been making this same smoothie recipe for years, and switching up the fruit as per whatever my mood is. The only thing I keep consistent is the frozen chunk of banana that I throw in. It really makes the smoothie thick. Try adding half a ripe pear, a teaspoonful of cocoa powder and a pinch of instant coffee. Mmmmm, mocha!!

A great recipe. I used soy milk in place of nonfat milk. Our peach tree was loaded this year, so I used peaches instead of the strawberries. Delicious.

This was a great smoothie. The taste is exquisite and the texture is smooth. It reminds me of a milkshake. I've been trying to find a way to get my required protein without the awful taste and this smoothie does it. When I read some of the reviews that they had a weight loss with this dring, I figure no way, but I've been drinking this for a week and have lost 5 lbs.

My boyfriend and I LOVE these smoothies. The only change I made was to use 1tbsp flax seed oil in place of the flax seeds. I have at least one of these every day - my only regret is that they fill me up so much, I don't have room for a second one!

Fantastic! I followed the recipe as written, using vanilla flavored protein powder and yogurt, and it had a wonderful flavor and texture! (usually I'm kinda grossed out by anything with protein powder). It kept me full for a good 3+ hours, and my husband actually said it was one of his favorite things I had ever made. Wow!!

i made this smoothie without the flax seed and protein supplement and replaced the plain yogurt with vanilla flavored. it was so yummy! another good combo to try is a mango and peach with the bananna. very tropical! i make these smoothies with different combinations of fruit almost every day now. love them for a light dessert!

This smoothie tasted good, but it was way too thick and way too many seeds for my liking. I omitted the flax seed and protein powder and used vanilla yogurt instead of plain. I also used whole milk. I wasn't looking for a low-fat smoothie, obviously!! LOL!!

I love this smoothie, except I used full fat (but all natural) dairy products. I figure it's not the dairy making me fat but the chocolate cake and McDonalds. ;) Also I used Cane Juice instead of honey, and fresh berries instead of frozen.

This smoothie tastes AMAZING and it is so easy to alter the recipe to your own personal tastes. For example, I forgot to add honey (oops) and I didn't have any bananas, but I still used frozen strawberries, milk, (strawberry) yogurt, and I added some orange juice, and it was fantastic. Great recipe!

I've always been afraid to make my own smoothies. But this is good. I followed it almost exsact. I used pulp free o.j. instead of milk and my flax was milled. You do notice the texture of the powder and flax, but it isn't bad. I made blueberry/banana for myself and mixed berry for my husband. I wasn't hungry for about 4 hours. Hope they will replace my husbands no breakfast routine.
