All-American Peach Pie Wonder

Ingredients

  • 5 slices Wonder® Classic White Sandwich Bread, crusts removed
  • 6 fresh peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Butter an 8-inch square baking dish.
  2. Cut each Wonder Bread slice into 4 or 5 strips. Spread the fruit in the baking pan and cover with a layer of bread strips.
  3. In a separate mixing bowl, beat together the butter, sugar, flour and egg. Gently spread over the fruit and bread.
  4. Bake 40 to 50 minutes, or until golden brown.
