I'm so full! That was delicious. I added 2 cloves of garlic, 1/2 an onion, and a teaspoon of red pepper flakes. I had to use shredded mozzerella and it still tasted like it was from a restaruant!

Sooo yummy! I added a little bit of garlic to give it more flavor. My husband says it tastes better than at a restaurant.

this was not as creamy as I was hoping for. It also needs some additional spice, its fairly bland, though maybe it just depends on the type of cheese you use...

WOW. I have been dying to make a restaurant quality Alfredo sauce for so long, and this is DEFINITELY it!I sauteed some shrimp in a separate pan in some olive oil with some garlic, and then put the shrimp on top of the pasta and poured the sauce over it. I made sure to not pour the pan full of shrimp and broth over it, I forked out the shrimp and placed them onto the pasta. This avoids the fishy taste. It was fantastic.

This is a great recipe. I am happy that I taste the sauce before I added the salt because it did not need it.

Great, easy recipe! I made it with asiago cheese and learned a lesson. Do not add any extra salt with asiago!!!!! I added an extra 1/2 cup of the heavy cream to correct and it was wonderful! I'll try the parmesan and romano cheese combination next time.

Not that this needs another review, but it was quick, easy and cheaper than bottled sauce. I cheated and used evaporated milk and also didn't have Romano so used all Parmesan. (I needed a quick side and it was what I had on hand!)

Good sauce. Try using different hard cheeses and experiment. I use olive oil instead of butter. Make sure the whipping cream is at room temp and poor it into the pan slowly while wisking constantly. If you don't the sauce will break. I add pasta to the pan instead of pouring the suace over the pasta. Sprinkle fresh Italian parsley.

I love love love this recipe. The nutmeg gives it that unmistakable flavor that you find in every Italian restaurants Alfredo sauce. I do have to say that I like mine a wee bit thicker though. Perhaps I'll try a little corn starch or flour as a thickener next time. OTHERWISE this sauce is DELIGHTFUL!

This was very easy and delicious. I didn't have heavy cream so I used half and half and 4 oz cream cheese. I also added garlic, onion, petite peas and crab meat then mixed it with small shells. My husband and I love it.

I added two cloves of minced garlic and 2 tablespoons of sour cream. This recipe really felt like I was eating out at an authentic Italian restaurant. I will never buy pre-made alfedo sauce again!

Wonderful! I didn't have romano on hand but I had some monteray jack. I shredded about 1/4 cup of it and it all turned out great. I took the advice of a fellow reviewer and mixed the egg yolk with the cream before adding it. Great recipe.

Very lovely recipe. I added minced garlic, black pepper, no salt, a little more nutmeg, some cream cheese and margarine because I didn't have butter. I added some flour to it because I like it a bit thick.

I am a huge alfredo fan. I can't stand sauces that taste store bought. I found this one online and thought I'd try it. I loved the flavor but it was too runny for me. I like my alfredo sauce a lot thicker. I've seen where people add cream cheese to the recipe. I might try that next time. Other than that I really did enjoy this dish.

I thought this sauce was absolutely delicious! I used all parmesan (shredded) since I didn't have any romano and it was perfect. My fiance thought it was boring, but what does he know? :)
