Delicious! Even my Cousin's super picky son loved it! Rich and creamy and fantastic! I was afraid that my parmesan cheese was not going to melt, so I turned the heat up just a bit and didn't stop stirring. Turned out just fine! Awesome recipe!

Delicious and easy! I used only Parmesan because that's all I had and it turned out great. I used it for sauce on Alfredo pizza but I bet its great on noodles too!

This was excellent. I didn't have cream, so I used another reviewers suggestion and used milk/butter/flour.

This is an excellent sauce, I just used Parmesan cheese ... I had some left overs and I put in the fridge, it makes a great spread when it's cold!

I loved this recipe! I did everything the recipe called for and when everything was finished I heated about a tablespoon of olive oil and sauteed jalepeno slices that come in the jar and then added all the alfredo sauce to it giving it a little kick. You can also add cooked cubed chicken pieces. Pour over penne pasta and top with cheddar cheese! Delicious!!

This tasted really great, but mine came out very thin even though I used heavy cream and grated parmesan. I used a tip from another reviewer about taking 1/4 cup of the sauce and putting it in a separate bowl and combining the egg yolk with that amount, stirring it together, then putting the egg yolk sauce mixture back in the main pot. Overall, I thought this was very good and I will most likely make it again despite its thin consistency.

Great recipe! I add chopped fresh parsley at the end. I've served this sauce over pasta and chicken and also steak. This is the only way to eat alfredo--the jar stuff will never do!

HATED the nutmeg. I will totally leave that out next time. Was a bit thicker than I'd like too.

This recipe needs NOTHING to make it perfect! It is ultra rich and decadent - not your everday meal, but wow - what a treat! Thanks for the recipe!

Delicious! Like several of the previous reveiwers, I added grated garlic. I also used shredded parmesan cheese rather than the grated parm/romano. It gave the sauce the perfect consistency. I'll definitely be making this again!

With the exception of adding sauteed garlic in the butter I kept everything else in recipe as listed and it turned out great. Will definitely make this again.

I would give this recipe 5 stars with the addition of sauteed garlic. I mean, how can you make a classic italian sauce without garlic? So, changes I made were: added 3 cloves garlic (I know, that's a lot but I love it), used only parmesan cheese, and added 2 oz cream cheese to make the sauce a little creamier. In my humble opinion, a perfect recipe. As other reviewers mentioned I made sure to slowly add some of the warm sauce to my egg before adding it to the sauce. Next time, I'll add some fresh parsley as well. This will be our standard alfredo sauce from now on.

I really enjoyed this recipe. I followed the directions to a T the first time I made it and it came out great. The 2nd time I must not have stirred it right b/c it was a little clumpy but not too bad. It still tasted good. I really like this recipe.

If I could give this a zero I would. I must have done something terribly wrong but I followed the directions right up until it says add the cheese. I added the cheese and the cheese immediately started clumping and ended up in one big clump with the melted butter and some other kind of thin liquid around it. It smelled sour too. I tried another recipe.

Very tasty! I added almost double parmesan and Romano cheeses. Also, the parmesan and romano cheeses need to be sifted before placed in the mix; it makes a big difference!
