The flavor of the sauce was good, but I did the idiot thing of adding the cheese at too high of heat. It clumped together. My 11 year old ate it anyway. Done correctly, it is probably a great sauce.

very good just the way it was written! i doubled the recipe and added 1 1/2 lb of chicken. ***note*** this recipe portion sizes are a bit off. when doubled, it only served 6, not 8. i had to make more sauce for our noodles.

First off, I used Amish butter from Wisconsin to make this recipe. I did everything as stated, tasted the result, and was not very pleased. So, I used Janpie's advice and added 1 more cup of heavy cream, 1/2 cup of milk, and a little bit of chives. Husband brought back a WHOLE BUNCH of cheese from Wisconsin so I added a thick slice of Butter Kase. Topped off with more parmesan and I had a winner!

This sauce is fabulous!! I haven't met anybody who didn't love it. It's easy and quick to make and beats any jar sauce out there. I definitely recommend it.

Very nice sauce! Made exactly as directed. My wife said it was the best alfredo she has ever tasted. A definite keeper!

This is the first time I made this recipe and I'll say that I'm definitely impressed! I've always cheated my family out of alfredo, due to thinking it was a tedious task. This was simple and will definitely be on our menu often! Thanks!

This recipe tastes awesome, and I did make a few changes. I added a little garlic salt and nutmeg for more flavor. I, too, had the problem of the cheese not melting. I used my hand blender to blend it and it smoothed and thickened right up...you need to try this recipe!

My husband and I like the sauce, but our kids did not. My picky eater said, "Mom! What's wrong with the noodles!" I don't make pre-packaged noodles... I'll make it again for us, something different for them. Thanks for the recipe.

This was very easy to make and my family liked it. My only problem with it was it got very thick and lost some of it's creaminess. But the taste was very good. Next time I will add some chicken or shrimp. Flaked salmon might also be good. Thanks for the recipe, I will be making it again.

WOW!!Even with my running low on butter and using half Country Crock...this recipe was just AMAZING. Definitely restaurant quality. My husband is garlic obsessed so I did add a little more but this recipe is just amazing as is.

This sauce was wonderful! I made this on a Friday during Lent when I needed a meatless dish. I only made a couple of changes to it. I made it just as stated in the recipe and thought it was a little too thick. I thinned it out a bit by using a little milk. I also wanted a little more color so I soaked 1/4 cup of chopped sun-dried tomatoes in some chicken broth and added them with the parsley. Not only was the dish more colorful, the tomatoes made it more flavorful. I poured it over some whole wheat penne rigate pasta and served it bread and salad. YUM!

Outstanding!!! I didn't have heavy cream so I used milk instead and a bit of cornstarch to thicken it. Probably didn't need it since it thickened a lot overnight. Taastes even better the next day! Thanks for the great recipe!
