I've attempted alfredo sauce in the past and has never turned out well. This was easy and the flavor was fantastic. I doubled the recipe but was about 3/4c shy for the cream so I added 1% and about 2 tbls of flour. Thickness was perfect!

It was awesome! However whn i cook, i consider health n carlorie. Therefore i made low-fat version f alfredo sauce instead f using heavy cream. I used the mixture f 1/2 c 1/2&1/2 n1/2 c skim milk. To thicken the sauce, i added 2-3TBL flour n whisked with the butter melted since i knw tht the mixture wouldnt b as thick as the cream. Try2 make the sauce with it coz it would b guitiless n better4 u!! I also added a pinch of nutmeg n used gruyere cheese. WONDERFUL!!!!! Hope u enjoy this sauce without guilt.

This is more like fettucine and cheese. The sauce is so thick it isn't really even sauce, it's just melted cheese. The worst alfredo recipe I've tried.

THIS SAUCE WAS VERRRRRY GOOD! It was a last minute sauce for the linguine I was making, and for 7 minutes of cooking, it was very great!

I thought this was pretty good and it was very easy. I quadrupled the garlic and sauteed first in a little oil, and also added a good dose of black pepper. My family enjoyed it quite a bit. My 7-year old doesn't normally like alfredo sauce, but he did like this one.

I just made this for dinner tonight with cheese ravioli...it was wonderful! My husband loved it and it was soooo easy! I used half and half instead of cream and two cloves of garlic instead of one. Thanks for posting this recipe, it's definitely a keeper. No more jar alfredo sauce for us!

This was my first attempt at making Alfredo Sauce and it turned out great! I loved the simplicity and taste. I did make just a few changes. I used evaporated milk instead of heavy whipping cream and I tripled the garlic. I love garlic, but was surprised my family couldn't taste the garlic. I didn't have fresh parsley on hand so I used dry parsley. I added my shredded parmesan cheese to the sauce bit by bit as it melted, to prevent clumping. I also added sautéed chopped mushrooms to the sauce. I poured this over farfalle pasta, and cooked broccoli florets, asparagus tips, carrots and chicken. It was very tasty and my family still got their veggies. My family gives this a 4.5!
