I cut this recipe down to one serving for myself and it was delicious! The main reason I tried this recipe was because of the fresh garlic listed. I preferred the taste of this sauce 100% more than the ones using garlic powder. I also upped the garlic a bit. I ran short on Parmesan cheese so I added in shredded Cheddar cheese to make up the rest. It was basically 2 parts Parmesan, 1 part Cheddar. It was wonderfully cheesy with the tang from the Parmesan. This is my new "go-to" Alfredo Sauce. Thanks so much for sharing your recipe!

This was very good, quick and easy. I added some sun dried tomatoes, fresh spinach and chunks of baked chicken breast. It was wonderful!! You may want to make double the amount though!

For some reason, I thought the recipe called for one whole garlic crushed. Even with all the extra garlic, it was still great and my kids devoured it. Next time, I will be sure to use only one clove though! ;-)

nice flavor but too runny, maybe a roux base would help.

I thought this recipe was EXCELLENT! I did add more heavy cream than the recipe called for and I also added some mushrooms. It came out great. Will make again. Thanks!

Yum. I added bacon, brocoli, frozen spinach and fresh cherry tomatoes with ravoli. Make sure to microplane the garlic so it infuses really well with no big chunks.

I was not a huge fan of this. I used freshly grated Parmiagiano Reggiano, and maybe this is one of the few recipes where the pre-grated bagged cheese would actually taste better. I think I prefer the flavor of the recipes with a cream cheese base (i.e. "Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce" from this site).

I tried this recipe recently and it came out to be VERY cheesy...I guess that is because I added alot of cheese and I used twice the amount of heavy cream. I added Mozzarella, Provolone and Romono in addition to the Parmesan that the recipe called for. I also added spinach and sauteed mushrooms. It came out great. I used to buy the Chicken Spinach Alfredo frozen bags dinner by Bertolli and this sauce and meal came out to taste much much better than that. And they were restaurant quality.

This recipe is ideal in my opinion with the addition of a pinch of nutmeg, salt, and pepper with the butter.

This is amazing and so simple. I always buy a block of parmesan cheese and grate it myself and have absolutly no problem with it melting (in the past I have had problems w/ the pre-shredded cheese from a bag, & kraft grated cheese doesnt work at all). I usually add broccoli and chicken for a complete meal. So so yummy... Ill have to try it with milk with flour or cornstarch next time for a healthier option.

Tasted great, but the Parmesan cheese doesn't melt very well, next time I'll try the Gruyere cheese, if I can find it here in Sweden.

Was delicious. The texture was just a bit dry as I used parm, but my husband said he actually preferred it that way. We had it over leftover roast and veggies- I sliced the roast thin and layered it in a glass baking dish w/carrots and potatoes also sliced thin. I then poured the sauce over the top. A yummy way to use leftover roast! I would have added steamed broccoli and mushrooms if I had had them on hand.

This was very good. I followed the recipe exactly and thought the flavor was right on. My whole family enjoyed it. I may make this again trying different cheese combinations.
