I love this recipe. I substitute the whipping cream with Plain Nonfat Yogart. Yummy and save a few calories. I too add veggies like a bag of baby spinach.

Great recipe! I used cod and some shrimp, also added some veggies and leaks. Try using dill instead of thyme. The sauce is amazing with leaks and dill! Thanks Evelyn!

This was a really great recipe, I only have one bone to pick with it - the portions. I followed the directions exactly, but the only thing that I felt I had enough of for a 9x13 pan was the noodles. I didn't feel like there was near enough halibut or sauce to cover two layers. I put this into an 8x8 pan and it fit great (with extra noodles) or I could have made just one layer in a 9x13. Other than that, great recipe! Definitely something different to do with halibut and a comfort food for sure!! 2/12 Made this again - doubled sauce/meat, added frozen spinach, upped the garlic and added some fresh parmesan to the cheese layers and it was DELICIOUS - Perfect!@

This is a great recipe. By accident I added to much cheese (too much going on in the kitchen) and it became very oily. I also think my family will like it better with chicken and veggies. That said, this was great just the way it was. I also think I will use fat free swiss cheese or skim swiss cheese. Great recipe! Thanks so much!

Good but VERY rich. The next time I make it I will reduce the butter and probably use half and half instead of cream. I added thinly sliced zucchini and yellow pepper. Will add more veggies next time as well.

I have made this recipe twice, both times using chicken instead of fish, with equally tasty results! A great new twist on classic lasagna. Reminds me of an alfredo sauce. This is a very rich, indulgent dish...calorie counters beware! :)
