It's like the dish I remember my grandmother making... very good!I used two cucumbers but could have easily used 4-5 based on the amount of liquid.

I love this recipe! I have been making a recipe almost identical to it for several years now. Instead of white vinegar, I used apple cider vinegar. I think it has more flavor and is sweeter. I have never added dill to this recipe before and next time I will add about half the amount. I love dill, but it was definitely overpowering.

Growing up, my mom worked in a deli and brought home salads daily. I think she made this one too. I love this recipe. It's easy, inexpensive, and refreshing. I could eat a ton. It get's better and better over time, and LOVED the last bite!

These are great - easy, simple recipes. We have a family get togeter every other sunday at my mother-in-laws and I made these a few months back and have had to make them several times since then. My In-laws are constantly trying to get me to make these. I finally just gave them this recipe. Thanks!

A bit sweet for my taste, I do like the tang though. I think a little salt might've helped a bit as well. I threw in some shrimp too - they would've added more had I marinated them in some spice. I think I'll try to make this again sometime, but probably reduce the sugar (or artificial sweetener) a bit.

This is the perfect cucumber salad recipe. My husband LOVES cucumbers this way and this recipe is perfection! I did not have white vinegar so I used apple cider and did add an extra tablespoon or two of sugar. I really was pleased with how these tasted, even though this is not one of my favorite dishes, in general. Great recipe!

This is a really nice cucumber salad. Sometimes I use applecider vinegar or red onion instead of the white vinegar and white onions.

I read some of the reviews and used less sugar. I made this for most of the summer to have on hand for a side dish. When the cucumbers were super abundant in the garden I made batches to bring to work and it was always cleaned out. Very easy and tasted like a pickle which I love.
