Extremely easy and a wonderful version for travel. I made it for a family gathering and, not only did it pack well, it was able to re-heat in a jiff!

I have tried squash every which way and I do not like it....Until now. Oh my goodness, this recipe is wonderful. I would not change a thing. I love the way it is cut, I am all about presentation.

This was really good. If I were to make it again though, I think I would add a little bit of cinnamon and/or nutmeg with the syrup and probably omit the butter for a healthier version. It is nice that it wasn't overly sweet. It blended well with the mush of the squash and the crunch of the Pecans. I might also try toasting pecans and putting them on at the last few minutes of cooking time so they are a bit crunchier. But over-all, this is a great recipe. It would also work well with sweet potatoes!

Acorn squash is very difficult to cut! A lot of trouble for a decent recipe. It was pretty good.

You got my husband AND grandma to eat veggies!! Thank you so much! I've always loved acorn squash among almost all other veggies, but was the only one who would eat it. But not anymore! I did peel and cube the squash like others so it would seem more edible to picky eaters, but that's the only change I made-it's perfect as is! Thanks again!!

My husband loved this recipe. (He is the only one who eats squash in our family.) Per my husbands suggestion, I also would cut into chunks next time peeled or slice in half and bake because as he said, "it would be much easier to eat." Thanks for a great recipe!

This was the best acorn squash recipe ever. I cut in into bite sized chucnks as one person suggested and the next time I make I will defiantely remove the skin. Not too sweet either - perfect!!

I had to bake these about 15 minutes longer than the recipe states to get the slices nice and tender, but they had a wonderful flavor.

Wonderful! Allergic to pecans, so I used cashews. Really good flavor and a great substitution. A unique taste, really good!

Very good and as stated not overly sweet. I would also cut in chunks instead of slices. I also peeled the squash before cooking which made it easier to eat. I did find it better if I uncovered halfway through cooking so the syrup would not be as watery. I used foil in my pan to make an easy clean-up. All I can say is yummy to this recipe. Thanks Bernie

My husband and loved this recipe. It was so easy. The sauce cooked up sweet and sticky around the edge of the pan and made a yummy "candy" to scrape up for dessert!

Very good and such an easy way to prepare acorn squash! Not overpoweringly sweet, which I liked, although the kids prefer it sweeter. It's a keeper!

This is a great way to cook acorn squash. Next time I will cut the squash into bigger chunks instead of slicing as directed. I would recommend cutting in half and then quartering each half. Great Fall side dish.
