These cookies were pretty good. They definately were not the best, I'll say. I used 2 cups mini semi-sweet chocolate chips instead of milk chocolate chips. It tastes alot better and gives it better flavoring. All in all, I still think the Nestle Already-Made cookies taste ten times better.

I made these and they turned out so yummy! I did reduce the salt to 1/2 tsp. and use half butter and half shortening. Key is to make sure you beat these until they are fluffy and let the dough stand in the fridge. Mine came out very puffy, not flat at all and not too over the top sweet!

I made these for my boyfriend and decided to give a dozen to him and the other dozen to my parents. My dad was a HUGE fan of these. Every time I go to my parents' house now, he requests them. He has one of the biggest sweet tooths I've ever seen and I once made the mistake of putting semi-sweet chocolate chips in. They were still very good, but he prefers the milk-chocolate. I also always use regular vanilla extract, butter and just 1 egg. Cooking time is also always a little more for me, 10-11 minutes. For those of you who are saying the cookies turn out flat, try refrigerating the dough for 30-60 minutes before cooking. If the dough is thin/sticky they will turn out flat.

This is the best chocolate chip cookie recipe! They are so soft and yummy! Yes I do agree that you should only put them in for 8 min., otherwise they won't be soft.

Wow! I have been baking for four years, and NEVER once did a chocolate chip cookie recipe ever come out the way I expected. I made these, substituted the Mexican vanilla for regular vanilla, and I used butter instead of the butter flavored shortening. I have tasted better, but I still LOVE the way these baked. I give the appearance a 9, the taste a 7, the bake time a 9 (they were brilliant in 8 minutes!) Thanks again!

I have been making these for years, everyone loves them, they are also very tastey as a cookie bar, if you put them into a casserole dish and bake for 20-25 minutes.

I made the cookie yesterday and I found that it was really good! One thing I would like to say is cookies became soft quickly... I have made cookies for several times and I think that using high quality of flour is important.

The flavor was good on these, but the appearance was just not impressive. I would not claim them as my own if I took them to a gathering. They flattened out and just look completely homemade.

I Followed The Recipe And It Turned Out That The Cookies Turned Into One Giant Cookie....And Went All Mushy And Stuck To The Bottom Of The Tray...And I Added 50g More Flour Because It Wasn't A Dough....THIS RECIPE IS REALLY BAD !!!

The best cookies ever, we absolutely loved them! The funny thing was that I had no butter only margarine so I thought for sure they might not turn out. They turned out great but I will use butter next time for more flavor. Over all very yummy and moist, will make again for sure!
