It is actually quite good. I change the ingredients slightly. I used a fine pinot grigio white wine vinegar (and only 1 tsp) and discarded the idea of using powered garlic (ugh). Fresh pressed garlic makes a tremendous difference-one small clove.

It's good. I thought it had a little too much sour cream taste to it, so I had to adjust the other ingredients. For me, this was a great place to start!

Simply delicious! Even my husband, who is a die hard blue cheese dressing lover, LOVED it. I don't think I could ever go back to bottled dressing after this.

Ok, I am THE blue cheese dressing fan, and have tried them all! This is the best homemade recipe I've tried by far! Did change it just a tad. You must double or triple it to make enough to get through the week. I used all the exact amounts for the ingredients except I cut the vinegar down to 1 tsp. You really need to try this, and use a good quality blue cheese to get the best taste from this recipe. Oh, use this dressing sparingly on your salad, as a little goes a long way. It will NOT disappoint!

Simply the BEST! I didn't have buttermilk, so I used whole milk and it was delicious. I will try buttermilk next time. So yummy I make it twice already this week.

This was just delicious. My husband and I loved it on a salad and can't wait to try it with some hot wings. I did use low fat sour cream and mayo otherwise I followed the directions as is.

Now that is how you make some blue cheese. I added a little more blue cheese crumbles.

What a fabulous and yummy recipe. I followed the recipe to a "T", ok well almost. I used low fat sour cream, nonfat buttermilk, and low fat mayo. This will definitely help cut down on the fat grams and calories and the best part is you can't even tell the difference. From now on, this will be the only blue cheese I will use. Goodbye store bought dressings.

This is fantastic. I just added a bit more garlic. It was easy to make not too thick and tastes great.

This was great! I made it exactly as the recipe states and used Duke's mayonaise for the mayo. It is a Southern girls best mayo. Thanks~

Wonderful I don;t think I will buy dressing again. I did use 2% milk and a bit thin but still really good flavor.

Tasty blue cheese dressing. Went great on a cobb-like salad. Will definitely make again - so easy. I am such a fan of homemade dressings to avoid at least some of the salt, sugar and preservatives of store-bought. Thanks for the easy dressing. Oh, by the way, I didn't have enough sour cream, so I added plain NF yogurt, too -- and added more buttermilk to water it down a bit.

I followed this recipe a little and also another recipe posted on AllRecipes (I think it was called Chunky Blue Cheese Dressing). Between them both I think we got the best blend between too thin/runny and too thick. I substituted white cooking wine for the white wine vinegar because that's all I had, and it turned out just fine. I also used 2 percent milk instead of buttermilk. Very good!
