This is a favourite recipe of mine but my husband likes peanut butter so I added 1/2 cup peanut butter and substituted chopped up peanut butter cups for the chocolate chips and he loved them.

These taste like a chocolate brownie with chocolate chips in them. They are good but not a favorite. I think they would be good with a butterscotch chip frosting.

These were very cakey...not very cookie like at all. The flavor was good, not great. I used a mix of chocolate chunks and mini chips. The kids said they liked them, but two days later there are quite a few left...

Absolutely excellent! Definitely a cookie for chocolate lovers and those that like cake-like cookies. Almost a brownie. Next time (and there will be a next!) I will add some chopped walnuts.

I thankfully read the part in the recipe that said to wait 5 minutes on cookie sheet after baking and before setting on wire rack, not one broke, then I shared the cookies with husband, kids and co-workers; all said the same thing; "Best chocolate chip cookies they ever tasted": thank you so much for sharing your recipe I will use it again!
