A coworker brought these to work today. I feel like the title is a bit of a misnomer as I don't feel they're the best ever. Maybe she forgot to shake off her hands exactly ten times? They were dry cookies, not necessarily chewy. And, in my opinion, a few too many nuts. Don't get me wrong though - a cookie is a cookie and I'd never turn one down!

The rock salt and dark corn syrup really make totally different. Has a little less butter than most recipies. In fact, it has a little less of everything you don't want, and a little more of everything else. Great cookie!

I have baked this cookie for several times now, and it turns out chewy and nice every single time! Really really nice cookies that are too good to be home-baked. Takes a bit longer but it's worth it.

These are THE best cookies I have ever made, and I have baked a lot of cookies. They are great with white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts.

I found this recipe about 3 years ago. It caused a very unexpected response from my wife. By using mint flavoured chocolate chips, I was able to get my wife to like mint flavoured chocolate. Isn't it amazing what a truly great recipe can do.

Wonderful recipe, very helpful tips and delicious cookies. The only down-side is that they get eaten too quickly.

The best chocolate cookie recipe ever. I followed instructions to the "T". By the second pan I had the technique down. Thanks for a super recipe.

Unbeatable taste and texture! Great when mixed with M&Ms, chocolate chunks, and other variations on chips and nuts.

The kids loved this cookie. They were very chewy and chocolatety. Had never tried making chocolate chips with nuts before and really liked the taste.

I just mixed up the ingredients and made them like plain old drop cookies. They came out great, very chewy.

This cookie tasted more like a cake instead of being chewy. It was ok, just not what I expected.

I thought this was a great cookie. Being basically lazy, I didn't wet my hands, etc., or measure each cookie --just plopped a good amount out on the cookie sheet. Still turned out great!

A very good chocolate chip cookie. The cookie sets up very well which makes it easy for little ones to make cookies with. Nice cookie texture.

I made these cookies to bring to the race track for the crew members. They loved them. I wouldn'y classify them as chewy more so as soft. I didn't put in the nuts. Good recipe.

This was an ok cookie. I found the dough to be rather dry and wetting your hands was a good way to add more liquid. The cookie itself was morecake-like than chewy.

These cookies are absolutely wonderful. I like to make them big with plenty of stuff in them. Try using some white chocolate, some dark. I usually skip the nuts but the end result is still great. Thank-you so much for this recipe!!!
