This chicken was quite good, but I will cut down the seasoning salt next time. I am a salt lover, but this was even too salty for me. But the chicken turned out SO JUICY AND SO TENDER!!! My boyfriend rarely gives 5 stars, but he wanted me to give this an 8. I used the Balsamic Cream Sauce on this site on top of the chicken and on top of mashed potatoes. I'm sure I'll be making this again. Thanks for the recipe!

Just got done eating this. Great, I rubbed the spices on before hand, dumped in some chicken broth and chopped up some garlic to saute with the chicken. More or less just read the reviews and combined their suggestions and we found it really good. I made gravy and thought it was a bit salty but oh well.

Should be called "A Great Easy Garlic Chicken"! Ingredients are inexpensive and some of what I keep in the pantry at all times. Even my impossibly-picky-eater 8-yr-old went back for 2nds! I added some chopped onion and some minced fresh garlic to the butter in the pan as some others suggested, and rubbed the powdered ingredients onto both sides of the chicken Delish! Just be sure to use garlic and onion *powders* and not *salts*. This will be in the regular rotation at our house!

It was good but probably would have been better with the gravy. I give the chicken 3 stars but my picky 5 year old gives it 5 stars.

I followed the recipe exactly. After the chicken was cooked, I removed it from the pan and used the same pan to make the "Balsamic Cream Sauce" from this site. Served over whole wheat noodles and asparagus. Fantastic recipe. This was recommended to me by MakeItEasy4Me. Thank you, great recipes

Very simple and quick. I make this all the time to add to different pastas, rice or sides. I rub the spices in, sometimes make a gravy out of the chicken bits like others said, and sometimes I cut the chicken up into small pieces before cooking in the skillet, make the gravy, and serve over rice. Yum.

This chicken was really good! Especially for being so easy. We did make a gravy after sauteing the chicken, it was a nice addition. My 1 & 2 yr olds both loved it!

I get easily disgusted with reviewers that complain about how easy a recipe is while on this site. Yes, this recipe is simple, but it gives everyone a base to start from, or a very quick easy recipe. This site is not just for advanced cooks. Even though I have been cooking for myself for years, I have never actually cooked... chicken... before I tried this recipe. And, it is because this was the simplest, most un-intimidating recipe that i choose this one. I, of course, followed a couple of reviews advice and tweaked the recipe (mostly due to the fact that I just moved and cannot find my onion powder or my garlic powder!) So, I added a medium sized handful of freshly chopped vidalia onions, a couple tablespoons of jarred minced garlic (mmmmm...) in with the 3 tablespoons of butter (and a little added olive oil) I also added a cube of chicken bullion and extra water after browning the chicken on both sides and let the chicken simmer in the mixture for a probably around 15-20 minutes. After removing the chicken, I added a little more water and flour (around 3 spoonfuls) to form a thick sauce. I served over rice, and my mother loved it. It also smelled remarkable while cooking, and my mother and my brother's girlfriend wouldn't stop telling me how good it smelled in the house. I will have to try it out again!

As a total beginner cook, this recipe was so helpful & simple! My bf & I just moved in to our own place so I am trying to find easy recipes to make for dinner every night. He loved the chicken. Instead of onion powder, I chopped up some real onion and threw it in the pan.
