Teriyaki Marinade III

Easy and wonderful teriyaki marinade for barbeque or roasting. For a zestier marinade, use lime or lemon juice; for a milder version, use water. If you would like to use the marinade as a sauce, you can boil it after removing the meat and add a little slurry of cornstarch and warm water to thicken it. When I make the sauce, I usually add some sesame seeds for looks. You can add fresh or ground ginger if you like, too.

This here's a great marinade for any cut of beef, but I like to use it on steak. It contains basic ingredients that, when combined and allowed to blend, will give you a tender, juicy piece of meat every time.

This simple marinade is made from ingredients many people have on hand (vegetable oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, wine vinegar, lemon juice, and seasonings), and can be prepared in minutes.

Yakitori Marinade

This is a simple yakitori recipe. Use it with boneless, skinless chicken thighs and leeks on skewers on the grill. I had never heard of this food until I first went to Japan. It's the equivalent to hot dog carts here in the states. You can get it everywhere from street vendors. Yakitori has become more popular here in the states over the last five years. I've even seen it in the frozen food section. It's easy to make if you have a grill though.

Lots of nice and exotic tastes in this marinade. The most familiar is orange marmalade, the most unfamiliar is garlic chili paste. But when they come together with the other ingredients - brown sugar to ginger to soy sauce- they make a wonderful marinade

A standard recipe for all BBQ occasions. Perfect for pork and chicken. When grilling meat, always use wood chips for a truly smoky flavor.
