Not bad flavor for a quick cooking chili. I subbed a red bell pepper for the green because that's what I had. I'll probably make again with a few changes (adding garlic and hot sauce I think).

Okay, I totally cheated on the spices... I used a packaged chili spice mix. BUT everything else was pretty much the same. The V8 was a nice subtle sauce. I used kidney beans and northern beans, and subbed red pepper for green bell. Cooked up in about 15 minutes. Will serve it again.

I loved this. I'm going to add a whole teaspoon of cumin next time. I REALLY like the flavor. it was good with turkey but I think I would also like to try with hamburger too sometimes.

I jazzed it up a bit with crushed garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin seeds, celery seeds, a kick of cayenne and a tablespoon of sugar to cut the acid. My family loved it. I have never cooked with V8 and I am not a chili fan but it was absolutely delicious! I also cooked it a little longer to let the flavors settle.

I accidently bought a large can of V8 juice last year for a chili recipe. My family loves it, I add diced tomatos with ground beef and stew meat instead of turkey. I think this recipe is close to having it all, we can always change up the ingrediants especially spices, that is the fun part of coming here and getting ideas.

A recipe is only some thing to work from and build it to your liking. Every recipe can give ideas too give another recipe a boost. So if you do not like one it will give a idea for one you do kind of like or zing up one you already enjoy.

Not flavorful to me, maybe better with beef. I would not make this recipe again. Too many good chili recipes to come across a bad one.

I was excited to find this recipe. We have a ton of V8 juice and cans of beans that we needed to use. I think this is a good base recipe but I needed more! I added some beef chuck, bacon and a few more spices which improved it. Just not enough flavor for us and nothing we were "wowed" by. I like that it's made with ground turkey and I am going to experiment and see how I can make this better. My husband gave it a 3 1/2 stars. Not bad. Thanks!
