4-H Corn Special
SUBMITTED BY:
Donetta Brunner
Angela Watts
"Donetta Brunner of Savanna, Illinois traces this hearty main dish back to a 4-H cooking project. 'I liked the recipe immediately, and it has traveled through the years with me to become a favorite with my children and husband, too. The only change I've made to the original is to add extra seasonings.'"

This was really awful! No taste and the appearance was unappetizing as I should have known from looking at the picture. However, mixed with Eukanuba, it was a huge treat for the dog.

My husband loved it and can't wait to take it in his lunch Monday as leftovers. I found it a bit bland and will probably double the seasoning next time. Definitely a good dish.

This was very good. I had ground beef thawing and I didn't know what to make with it so I tried this site and found your recipe to be quick and easy and I had all the ingredients in my closet and frig. I took the others suggestions and doubled the worshire and hot sauce and it was perfect. We also ate it with the sour cream and we were pleasantly surprised at just how good this really was. Thanks!

Very good, and, yes - definitely double the seasonings. I think I'll triple it, in fact next time. Thanks for the new recipe!

Excellent!! My family loved it. It's well worth trying. Sour cream on the side was a good touch.

My husband and I really enjoyed this dish. Very colorful and nutricious. I liked the fact it used fresh tomatoes, which usually I am not fond of but was excellent in this. Definetly a keeper. Thanks for posting.

I really enjoyed it. I pretty much took everyone’s advice and cranked up the spices. On my second attempt for a party I used medium salsa instead of the fresh tomatoes and onions and added the parmesan to the crackers. Served it with sour cream and chips and had to make a second batch at the demands of my guests. Thx.

My family found this extremely bland. However, will probably taste good as left overs in an omelet with cheese and picante sauce.

Followed the other reviewers advice and doubled the worchestershire sauce and the hot sauce. Used a drained can of diced tomatos instead of fresh. Served with sour cream and whole wheat tortilla's. We found it to be a good quick ingredients-already-on-hand recipe.
