Well, I came on late, since I was kept busy today, but sometimes there's a fellow insomniac who asks a question, & I like to give some quick answers if I can. Reminds me, I need to go back & answer mor about pressure cookers, but I bet you guys fixed her up dandy. This was a very bittersweet day for me. It should have been my husband Jerry's & my 21st anniversary. He's been gone 7 years now, but I try to set the day aside & celebrate it. Instead, the day was over-run by petty crud & errands. I just miss him, just as I do Clint (passed in 1988 after 8 years of marriage). Seems I wear 'em out fast! However, I realized that I'm privileged to know that they are both "more than o.k.", because they are with Heavenly Father. I hope all of you are as lucky as I have been. It's nice to know I can tell you how I feel tonight and know you won't mind too much. I'm grateful to have you all, both past & future. By the way, in honor of my "new" single status, I'm changing my picture. And, if anyone really cares, my real name is Nikki.

Hi cooks, I made a homemade mac & cheese... Can I put it in the fridge for a couple of hours before I bake it? Or will the pasta absorb all the lovely cheesy sauce and dry it out when it's time to cook.. .??? Thanks so much

If you all remember maybe a month ago I asked about blenders and which one was the best. Well I ended up buying myself a Oyster blender. Then for mothers day my wonderful children bought me a Nutra Ninja!! Here is my experience with it: So I unpackaged it and it said that all the parts were dishwasher safe. So after the dishwasher ran its cycle I went to take all the parts out and put them away while reaching in to take the parts out I brushed up against the blade and sliced my thumb right down to the bone. My hubby was sleeping cuz it was 1AM, and I woke him up and told him he had to take me to the hospital and his response to me was "what the h**l did you do now" I said I cut my finger and he said to me " are you sure you don't just need a band-aid'? LMAO!! I ended up getting 3 stitches in my thumb and never even got to use my new blender once!! So needless to say those Nutra Ninja blenders are dangerous and NOT dishwasher safe!! LMAO

Hello! Priscilla here, this doesn't have much to do with food, but I currently produce an advice column with questions and answers to do with food and health. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to correctly submit and or audition for jobs with newspapers or magazines? Any tips would be much appreciated, thanks very much:) Have a blessed day!

If my recipe calls for 4. 1 oz semi sweet chocolate squares, 1/4 cup butter and micro to melt, This is a hard glaze, what to do if I wanted just a soft glaze?
