Happy Memoral weekend all! Drove by the most beautiful line of flags today. Taking a moment to appreciate...things that are too deep for words. I really do have a food question too--

Hi everyone! What was the recipe or method for cooking corn on the cob that everyone was trying a while back? Thank you!

Also, I found this no bake chocolate strawberry tart recipe, the strawberries were whole in the tart pans. Not sure if it was for the aesthetic look of the slices, but, could I chop them up smaller, and add bananas? All this food might end up going to the trash, but it'll keep me busy because I'm getting stood up by not just one but two dates I had today. At least I got some sunshine in the process of waiting on phone calls back. Good food will always make me feel better about my skills. XOXO

I was supposed to go to this amazingly fun canoe/kayak/bonfire/dog friendly/hammocks camping this trip this weekend and plans fell threw :( So I had defrosted 2.25 lb of chicken breasts in the fridge and 2 sirloins. All defrosted in the fridge-no room temp. I just put about two lbs of the chicken and put it in a Weber's pre-made marinade to either grill tonight or tomorrow afternoon. I have a little bit of the chicken left, and want to be creative with it (oven baked). Then, what do I do with the sirloins? I want a super yummy cool marinade for those too, and make those too tomorrow to make the people who missed out on my food jealous. Cooking therapy. TIA!

What is the best beef you have found for fajitas? I tried bottom round steak and marinated it. It was tough.

Question: (1 answer)

I was wondering if when making Strawberry Jam after washing and cutting all the fruit, could I put it in the fridge until the next day and then start the cooking process on the stove. Would I have to put fruit fresh, the sugar & lemon etc...? Thanks, Dawnie B
