Am i wrong or do you american always used some strange processed food/stuff in your recipes? It seems i naver can follow any recipes on this site without having to imagine what such or such a thing is and making changes????

When I try home-made tortilla chips, sprayed with cooking spray, they get tough, not crispy. I have tried various times and temperature, according to the many recipes I have found. I have been using the thin tortillas from Mission, as they are lower in calories. What can I do differently?

Is anyone else having a problem with the reviews on the recipe page?? I used to be able to see the reviewer name and click on it and read ALL of the review. Now I can't because the names are not there.

Last night I mashed ONE SWEET POTATO, ONE BANANA, and about 1/2 CUP UNSWEETENED ALMOND MILK together. I has intended to make pancakes with it, a cool paleo recipe I found. It tasted delicious, but I have never been good at making pancakes. They looked hideous! Does someone have a suggestion to use up this "batter"? Muffins? Bread? Gluten free preferable, but not essential. Thank you so much for your help!

Is anyone else having a problem with being kicked out when entering a new recipe and hitting the preview recipe button? Also - how do I find all the categories of my recipes? The new format is not user friendly.

I hate waste of any kind. I was supposed to make spaghetti sauce yesterday to feed DGS & the freezer. Couldn't find the bag of seasoning blend (frozen chopped onions with a little bell pepper, celery) so called DH. Yes he bought it. DGS found it still in the trunk of the car with the green peas & broccoli. Two days in the hot sun so I had to toss! ~~~ I asked DH to get 3 cream cheese. He bought 3 32oz tubs of sour cream. I did google to see I could freeze it but the texture will be off. So I plan to divide two of the tubs in 1/2 & 1 cup portions to freeze then thaw as needed for baking. ~~~ So I would like to know your favorite recipes to use up the other 32 oz of fresh sour cream. I know one will be a cucumber salad but cucumber hurts both of us. Baked potatoes but that is just a spoonful for me since DH doesn't use on his potatoes. A spoonful in sauces or dressings. How to use up?
