Regarding reviews...why is it that frequently, when I click "see full review" that it is not the review given in the teaser. It's really annoying. See today's "Creamy Carrot Soup" for classic examples.

Heartfelt thanks for the wonderful birthday wishes. It was truly a wonderful day. Denny had a total hip replacement & was discharged yesterday - best gift ever. We are in for some weeks of rehab but life is good! Thanks for making it even better, my friends.

Hello to my peeps and friends, Tonight I got a new idea for a cake with Pineapple, coconut, limes, lemons and a mandarin orange that make up a Pineapple Cocktail Cake that I have just made and it does not really need any icing with the cake having lots of of moisture without icing. I will try and post it on my blog sometime tomorrow

I may be moving and want to keep moving costs down. I have some old very thick and heavy cookbooks like Bon Appetite Desserts, American Cooking and the Creative Cooking Course. I have mixed feelings about selling them. I don't look at them often but still I paid money for them and won't get half of what I paid for them. Yet I love that they have lots of recipes that are not exactly the same as we have today. What are your thoughts about selling cookbooks?

Hey everyone! I made this marinade, and marinaded the chicken. I'm now going to use a pananini/grill press to cook the chicken. Am I able to boil the marinade and use it as a dipping sauce or over the rice I'm eating? I'm nervous because obviously it had raw chicken in it. My mom fed me tons of expired (not by a lot, but she was old school and didn't really believe in expiration dates- I never got food poisoning)food, so- the question is if I boil it for ten? minutes, can I use it? TIA!
