I have fits with my potatoes that I bake in a casserole such as scalloped potatoes not getting done! I have baked and re-baked and sometimes they are still hard! My daughter suggested using the microwave before adding them. Any ideas?

Some friends make these copycat "Gone Bananas" from Trader Jo's. They must be popular. To make them you freeze slices of banana, dip them in melted dark chocolate with a little coconut oil. I'm bringing a meal to a family who has had some medical issues this week. They requested "healthy and gluten free" so that pretty much nixes the typical lasagna I usually make for these occasions. There is a mom, dad, 6 year old, 4 year old and nursing baby. Any suggestions? Thanks!

So now it is sleeting here..ugh. Need something to warm me up. I have one can of black beans, about 2 cups of chicken broth and varies veggies and some tomatoes and sauce. Any ideas on how I can make a soup out this? TIA

I have a question about mayo. First though, I should let you know I can't stand the stuff unless it is flavored (and flavored well) to hide the actual mayo taste. I normally buy Kraft mayo when it is on sale or I have a coupon. Recently, I tried to make a sriracha mayo like I've had in restaurants. It was awful! My question is, is there some huge difference between mayos such as Kraft and Hellmans? I know some of you are very partial to your Hellmans/Best Foods. I have a hard time paying that much more, but am curious about the taste. Thanks for you input!
