Yesterday the local winery had a harvest festival and our restaurant catered the food! In spite of the rain the day was a success! Hubby and I picked up a loaf of local baked whole wheat-cranberry-walnut artisan bread, some local made goat cheese, and local honey (3 kinds: Spring, Summer, Fall - all distinctive tastes). Yum!

Question: (2 answers)

I want to earn a little more money by selling baked goods at a yard sale. I plan to make cupcakes, cookies, mini loaves, etc and wrapping individually. My question is how much would you charge? I thought I'd place 2 good size cookies into Ziploc bags. How much would you charge? mini loaves? cupcakes? Thank you!

Looking for a fool-proof lemon beurre-blanc recipe. I know the classical technique, but this needs to be made by a group of cooks, who are not classically trained. Chef John? Any shortcuts, ideas, suggestions? So, far teaching the classic technique has been a disaster (I'm not a teacher).

Savory Protein Powder Recipe? I have natural flavored brown rice protein and am seeking ways to use it in dinner recipes. I found this great recipe on Protein Pow, however, it doesn't give ANY measurements of how much of each ingredient to use. http://proteinpow.com/2011/01/i-tried-to-make-my-regular-dahl-chopped_22.html Does anyone have savoury protein powder recipes they could share? Soups, curries, stir-fries, ect? Please post here if you have come across any. I am vegetarian, so something that doesn't contain meat or can be adapted to be vegetarian would be great.

Question: (1 answer)

I want to try the Slow Cooker Cilantro Lime Chicken recipe. Many comments suggested "high quality" salsa. Would someone please give me some brand names of a "high quality" salsa. I need mild level of hotness. I suspect your basic salsa right out of a jar wouldn't be "high quality." Thanks.
