Sometimes I don't know what I'd do with you guys and your help! Toasting coconut, did this before but kind of freaking out cuz put it in 300 degree oven for about 9 minutes, stirring on and off. It is white with some gold in it (not burnt), but feels a little crunchy. It will be going in a crust (1/2 cup butter (that is ONE STICK, right?) & a cup of flour, vanilla, 3 tblspns flour. What should the texture of the toasted coconut be? Thanx
