My kids have requested something for dinner and I can't quite find a recipe for what I'm looking for. They had me get some cube steaks and want those thick stroganoff type noodles with it but they don't want it to be stroganoff (yeah, weird, I know). I need some kind of simple stroganoff type gravy to go with it. I have looked at some stroganoff recipes on here thinking I could make the gravy part but they all call for onions and some kind of wine. I can leave the onions out but I'm not going to the store just to get wine for cooking so I need one with a simple flour/milk or stock one and my brain just won't come up with one today lol. Thanks for any suggestions.
