I thought I'd share this recipe for a no-churn honeycomb ice cream that was printed in the Los Angeles Times in January. It was a hit in my family! http://allrecipes.com/personalrecipe/64350235/no-churn-honeycomb-ice-cream/detail.aspx

Handy Andy - Marie C. says, "Handy Andy, use any recipe you want and where it calls for flour in the filling replace it with the same amount of Clear Jel. Just mix the Clear Jel in with the sugar. This will absolutely work!"

I have a few questions , pertaining to a recipe in a Walt Disney book. It's a blueberry lime cheesecake roll. Hubby wants me to make it . Ugh lol Anyway , it calls for neutral gelatin powder? Is that the same as unflavored gelatin powder? And blueberry purée , I can make in a blender or food processor right ? And one more thing , it says to bake on a 12x 18x 1 pan , I am guessing a regular size jelly roll pan is to big for this right ? Thanks in advance for your help ! This recipe seems a bit involved !

Well dang! Was hoping to get out to the store to get some Feta cheese to make the pork chop recipe Gary had recommended..but nooo..first snow then sleet and freezing rain (hmm..guess that would be the same thing). Soo..I just seasoned them with S&P, poultry seasoning, Penzey's Arizonia Dreaming, plopped them in a casserole dish with some chicken broth (had a box open in fridge), some apple cider and worcestershire sauce. May thicken the liquid up with a slurry to serve with the chops. Starting to smell pretty good. Keeping fingers crossed.

Hi Everyone, just thought I'd let you know I updated my blog, if you're interested. Also, I really want some recipes that involve mostly root vegetables like rutabaga, turnip, carrot, sweet potato or anything else you can think of. I can't use beets or white potatoes. I can't use sugar. I'm not really sure how many root veggies there even are...
