I bought a bunch of limes at the Mexican market (10 for $1.00) that now need to be used up. I was looking at key lime pie recipes (I have a graham cracker crust, sweetened condensed milk, etc) and I'm wondering if it will make a big difference if I use regular lime juice instead of key lime juice. Never made a key lime pie before. What do you think?

Many years ago a friend made a chicken/wild rice dish cooked slow and low in a roaster. It had wild rice, mandarin oranges, mushrooms, the chicken and not sure what else. It was delicious! Wandered if anyone had a similar recipe. Thanks. Rebecca

Hi to all my peeps and friends, I have an update with my Wringer washing machine. I am more familiar now with how the machine works and I have a comfortable setting with the wringer that has a comfortable amount of tension in the rollers. I did a load of laundry this afternoon and it worked good for me with the wringer doing all the work as I guided the clothes through it as It made some happy sounds with the laundry soap bubbles passing through the wringer. I just have to remember to drain the tub at the end and all should be well with the machine. I have a system now where I do the clothes and then put the wringer over the edge of the sink which it designed for with the rollers only active when the wringer is placed on the edge of the machine so everything can run into the sink and then run it back through and put it in the dryer and I am done. The fitted bed sheet was the only thing that I had trouble with which was a little to thick for the rollers.

I would like to serve Chicken Piccata for a dinner party for 50 people. I would like to cook it a week prior, freeze and reheat in oven. Can I and how would be the best way????

These days making lasagna doesn't have to take all day. Have you ever made it for a potluck luncheon with a way to keep it hot? I have an 75 minute drive but have access to electricity upon arrival. I could keep it hot until I get there in a thermal tote, right?

Does one eat or remove the long pod for red noodle beans? Put another way, is it like a string bean or lima bean? The seed packet recommends frying.

I go to the local grocery store and I see many different kinds of rolls. Hard rolls, Ranch rolls, French rolls, Potato rolls, etc. What is the difference between a hard roll and a Ranch roll?
