Why does everyone have to change a great recipe? Instead you should present your own recipe. When you present your own will you feel insulted that somebody else felt free to 1-up a recipe that you felt confident enough to submit? Instead why don't you pay attention to the recipe a person submitted instead of trying to re-invent it yourself. The waters are less muddied with less input. Be an original instead of a critic.

I ordered online and just received a Calphalon frying pan. The lid is engraved with "Simply Calphalon". Did I just spend $50 on a piece of junk?

I did some research on the history of National Beer Day and it was officially made into law by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in March 1933 and took effect on April 7th 1933 which allowed people to buy, sell and drink beer again as long as it met volume and alcoholic content.

I made a potato kugel a few hours before baking it. I covered it and put it in the refrigerator. When I took it out and uncovered it, the top layer (about 1/8") was black. This was not the normal brown color of potatoes that have been exposed to air. I baked it and the black portion was crispy. What happened?

How do I save a recipe? I never used to have a problem, and now I'm unable to save anything. When I hit the "edit and save" button, it brings me to my three choices for upgrading. ??

In the recipe Polenta & Vegetable Casserole do I drain the can of black beans, kidney beans and corn? I have make this before several years ago but have forgotten what I did. The recipe does say to drain any of the canned vegetable, but it seems like it would be wet, but maybe the polenta (tube variety) needs the moisture. This recipe is from 2010.
