I would like to bring my homemade chicken n dumplings to a pot luck. I would like to make them a day before and heat up in a crockpot. The problem is that the dumplings set up and stick together like glue the day after you make them. Any suggestions maybe some butter added to the sauce.

I'm looking for some healthy lunch and dinner options to also help myself lose weight. I'm trying to avoid breads and pasta because they sit heavy in my stomach for hours after eating them. Any suggestions on how I can filter out the search results to show me just the foods that I'm looking for?

I don't have time to make pie crust for Grandma Ople's apple pie... I have a ready-made but not enough for the lattice top. Would strips of puff pastry work for the lattice - or would it bake too puffy? Thank you!

Hi to everyone, Thank you so much for your support in my time of need. My appt. time is now confirmed for 10:00 am to have a training session with my doctor before we start doing the actual procedures. I have been so much into my health and with the onslaught of blood work being done I had to make a dessert with blood oranges that are layered on the bottom of the cake pan with a white cake layer in the middle and thinly sliced almonds on top of the cake. The blood oranges have a very strong flavour. I will try and post the recipe for anyone who wants to save to their recipe box.

I made Dump I cake by Wilma Hull & it didn't come out good at all. I wanted to use up some of the ingredients I had in my pantry, but this cake I think had too much can cherry within the cake. I used an organic cake mix, but I don't think that was the problem. Are there certain brands you should be using? I know I will never make this again!

When cooking the Thai and Asian Chicken recipes, what liquids can I use in place of the oyster and other fish-based sauce? I am deathly allergic to these, but want to make these recipes for sports programs on TV. Any help would be appreciated.

I have nice things in my kitchen including nice pots and pans. I put them in my new dish washer and the black outsider turned grey!!! How do I get them black again,I'm sick over this??

What is the correct internal temperature of cakes when done. The "toothpick comes out clean" is subjective and I find it a dubious decision, to make sure, the cake is actually done. any help is very much appreciated.
