I love many of the recipes. Cooking each day. As a UK member is it possible to have a measurement chart available. I have to search the net each time for assistance. Thanks

In Dawn Robyn's Easy Bacon and Cheese Quiche recipe I will be replacing both kinds of cheese with 8 oz of shredded "Mexican cheese" - a mixture of monterey jack, mild cheddar, queso quesadilla & asadero cheeses. Ole'!

Your recipe list for some recipes has the note "kitchen approved" behind it. Does that mean someone there actually tested it? Or it just sounds good to you??

Question: (4 answers)

Botulism ---- I have a jar of Sun-dried tomatoes in oil that was in our pantry when we moved. I packed it up when we moved ... when we got to our new house I didn't think anything of it, but noticed there was a small amount of oil on the jar. I thought maybe it got turned on it's side or something during shipment. So, I wiped it off and put it in a ziploc and put it back in the pantry. I didn't think twice about it. Today, approx 6 months later, I decided to use the sun dried tomatoes. When I twisted the cap off it came of extra easily. I always have a hard time with jars .. it was almost like it had already been untwisted. So I read the jar and it said "Refrigerate after opening" well to my knowledge it has never been opened. --- more inside

Question: (1 answer)

I often come across cookie recipes that call for putting the cookie dough in the fridge for a few hours to overnight. Do I put the entire dough into the fridge, or shape it into cookies before putting them into the fridge? If I put the entire dough to the fridge, when I take it out, it's hard as rock - how do I soften it? Thx!

Question: (4 answers)

I need help from any who are on less than a regular diet. In the last week I have advanced from "nothing by mouth" to a "full liquid diet" and am trying to advance to "mechanical soft" and "soft" before I can try a regular diet again. I have a common complication of ovarian cancer - a partially obstructed bowel and have also started chemo to reduce the obstructing tumor and miscellaneous other tumors. I am overwhelmed at putting together a good chemo diet AND a full liquid diet. I'm really hoping there are enough of you out there that we could develop a new recipe area here on allrecipes. Thanks for reading this.

I need a stuffing recipe and a veggie side dish to go with this maple glazed, roasted turkey breast please! I think I need a non-sweet stuffing as a foil to the sweetness of the turkey. I could be wrong though! http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Maple-Glazed-Turkey-Roast/Detail.aspx?soid=recs_recipe_seed
