Strawberry Pretzel Salad... http://allrecipes.com/customrecipe/64035150/judys-strawberry-pretzel-salad/detail.aspx?prop31=6 Do you think it would work ok to make the pretzel crust and cream cheese layer tonight and add the jello layer in the morning, or would it get soggy?

What if you don't have more than one mini cupcake pan? Can you bake one batch at a time, or will the temp be off and ruin them?

OK, I guess it can't be categorized as a miracle but I am pretty happy. A couple of weeks ago I made Aaliyah's birthday cake and I couldn't find my favorite leaf tip for cake decorating. I made due with another one but it's just not the one I like best. Tonight I was looking for old Easter egg loops (the ones to take eggs out of the dye). I didn't find them but I did find my leaf tip and it wasn't in a drawer where it belongs. I totally just stumbled on it. So now I'll have it for my carrot cake tomorrow. yay!

Will someone please post the recipe for Olive Garden's Creamy Citrus Chicken which is served with pasta. It is absolutely delicious and my family would love it so much if I could make it for them. It has several pieces of chicken served in a creamy sauce with 1/2 wedge of lemon. A vegetable which looks like spinach is mixed into the sauce.

I'm prepping for tomorrow's soiree' at my SIL's fancy home; she's an awesome southern hostess and I'm looking forward to the afternoon. I'm making/taking Napa Cabbage Salad (ramen salad); Lemon Cupcakes to celebrate hubs' bday per his request; deviled eggs, and banana pudding. Can I make the banana pudding this afternoon to serve about 5:30pm tomorrow, or will the bananas turn brown? If I want to make everything tonight so I'm not stressing, what can I do to keep the bananas in the pudding from turning? Thanks, will check msgs a little later. Happy cooking!

Question: (1 answer)

I started to bloom some gelatin to make marshmellows. Was supposed to bloom for 3-5 min. Of course my baby woke up and now can't make them for a few hours. Can I still use that gelatin or do I have to start over? All I have done is sprinkle the packets over cold water. TIA

Happy Easter everyone. Our big meal is over. Everything was good, but my turkey was tough. Has this ever happened to you? I had brined it, like always, and it was tasty and juicy, but tough. Before I pulled it from the grill, I had checked it with 3 trustworthy thermometers, but I could tell by pulling on the legs that it wasn't quite right. Usually they just fall off with just a little pull. When cutting it up, it even cut tough. I've never run into that before and I've done dozens of turkeys. I didn't even serve the dark meat because if there is going to be an issue, that's where it's going to be. Have you ever had this happen? Did I get an old bird?

To remove some of the saltiness and to flavor the spiral sliced ham, I'm thinking of putting the ham in an oven bag, fill with ginger ale and suck the air out, then turn every hour for four hours. My mom used to put ginger ale in the pan to take some of the salt out, but it was only the cut portion down which never made any sense to me, even as a child. Any thoughts on my plans? TIA.

I have few resources at my fingertips right now as I rely on others to do my shopping. Hubby is doing a leg of lamb for Easter dinner. I usually get very creative with my table and dessert but can only sit on my walker (broken leg) for so long before swelling and pain take over. With my son's help I want to make some little chocolate baskets and fill them with lemon pudding. I have made chocolate cups before but they were less than pretty and I can't even remember how I made those! I am going to melt some dark chocolate (with a bit of butter right?) and then was wondering about drizzling choc. over an upside down custard cup. Should I wrap the custard cup in cling film, butter it? If I can I am hoping to make them like a woven basket and then fill with pudding. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
