I need a soup or good one dish slow cooker meal for Friday. I was thinking of the Ham and Potato soup....do you think that could make this and then transport and keep warm in a slow cooker?

I need a good recipe for a bread bowl. The ones I've seen on the site call for cornmeal, which I don't have... or 3-4 hours of rise time.. also something I don't have.
Any suggestions?

Question: (3 answers)
I got a recipe on line today for baking brownies in a canning jar by filling about 2/3'rds full, baking at 325, then putting the lid on immediately after taking out of the oven. Has anyone ever tried this? She mentioned boiling the jar first, then spraying the insides with cooking spray. Any tips? Suggestions?

Question: (1 answer)
Ok so my BF has a $50.00 gift certificate to The Honeybaked Ham Co. I've look on the web site and I'm just not loving the spiral ham thing. I don't really care for them. Has anyone gotten anything from them? They have other things there but I don't know what I want to buy. What would you recommend?
