Went to the store today and in the specialty flour section they had so many interesting non- wheat flours. I stood there looking at them for the longest time and almost bought a few and then realized I hadn't a clue what I'd do with them so I put them back to "rethink" it. What non- wheat flours do you use and for what and what are the results (crispier cookies, softer bread, tastier breaking, etc.).

good afternoon buzzers. i am trying very hard to stay away from all things "white" for health reasons. so far so good! :) i am making stew. can i make a slurry with water and whole grain whole wheat flour to thicken? thanks a munch!

Hello, friends! Does anybody have experience warming up King crab legs on the Weber grill? How long did it take to warm cooked King carb legs? We are having grilled veggie kebobs (zucchini, yellow squash, bell peppers, red onoins and mushrooms) and grilled baby Yukon Gold potatoes kebobs on the side tonight. All are welcome to join us! I'm making a blueberry crumble. It calls for 1 1/2 sticks of butter, but I only have 1 1/4 sticks of butter. Can I go ahead and make it with slightly less butter, or should I wait until I can buy more? I have no margarine to substitute it with.
