Goes with last question: Looking for future tried and true bread machine recipes? It is a Zojirushi. Basically, I can knead, make any kind of breads, quick cakes, and jams. I am looking for flavored breads, whole grain breads, or anything interesting, and worthwhile, that is not bread? I will refer back to this post over time. So, I hope someone posts their tried and true recipes. TIA!

It's going to be close to 100 here today and it's supposed to be like this for most of the next couple of weeks. I've made pasta dishes, salads, and fruit plates. I don't want to turn the oven on. Any ideas? I'm melting.

Hi,I was hoping I could ask a canning question. I am new to canning and, this week, made about 12 jars of zucchini jelly. I didn't realize that when that I was supposed to use bottled lemon juice and I used fresh squeezed. Does this mean I will need to throw out all the jars I made? If I put them in the refrigerator will they be safe to eat? I made them all within the last few days but they been on a shelf. Thank you so much for any help, it is greatly appreciated.

My mom purchased an abundance of green tea packets because she thought she was going to become a tea drinker...only to find out she doesn't like it, and then promptly gifted it to me. Does anyone have TNT recipes using green tea (not to make tea)?

Have a great chicken fajita recipe I pieced together from various on this site. I usually put them together and serve ..we like sour cream and guacamole with ours; should I put these last two ingredient on and put pack in the skillet to warm evertything up...or is the sour cream and guac supposed to be cold?

Good Wednesday morning to my peeps and friends, Last night I made a pumpkin pie with a crust that uses butter and light cream for the crust instead of lard and water. The crust rolled out very easy and the result was a very tasty pie that is much sweeter than a crust made with lard.

We had pork tenderloin for supper last night, and I have quite a bit leftover. I also have a lot of different kinds of pasta from buying it on sale. I have tomatoes, onions, okra, potatoes and zucchini from my garden. I've already cooked Gumbo, fried okra and zucchini. We have baked or roasted veggies often. Just saying, but with all that I have I don't know why I feel stumped. I'd like to make it into something, so it doesn't just look like we're having last night leftovers. Do you have a suggestion or recipe?
