Question: (1 answer)

I'm following a pulled pork recipe from the Joy of Cooking that calls for the pork shoulder to be baked in the oven without any liquid... but I would like to cook the same recipe in the crockpot... it has been marinating in a dry rub and I am planning to brown it before placing it in the crockpot. Can I place the roast in the crockpot as is? Or do I need to add liquid?

Question: (4 answers)

What can I do with crummy tequila? I bought a 1.75 liter bottle of tequila blanco that seemed like a good deal, but I don't like the flavor. I've suffered through a little over half of it but I just can't take it any more. What should I do with the remaining 0.75ish liter (the equivalent of a normal fifth)? Answers need not be limited to recipes - in fact given that I don't like the flavor, non-recipe uses might be preferred.

I am finishing up the Hot Italian Giardiniera recipe from PHONETEK and I would like to know how long it will keep? Can I can it? If so, would I need to add oil and Vinegar to cover? Any help you can give would be appreciated. the recipe made more than I can eat and I would lot to preserve it to eat at a later date or give to friends. This stuff is awesome and I don't want to let any go to waste. Thanks.
