I have some ground pork I need to use and don't want to do the typical tacos or chili. Thinking burritos, but I am open and desperately need suggestions! TIA!

My daughter and I were driving through New Mexico and we stopped at a local diner. They served us the most delicious chili fries! It wasn't your typical meat based chili - it was a green chili pepper type sauce we simply loved. I'd love to duplicate - surely someone in the southwestern region has a recipe (?) Our waitress said all New Mexicans served green chili sauce on their food (over eggs, potatoes, etc). Help!

Good Morning Everyone, I am looking for ideas for things I can bring my parents for meals other than pot roast or Mexican food do you have any good recipes for me? My mother is not feeling well but is eating so I don't want to bring anything that she would have to do any work. They live an hour away so it needs to travel well. Thank you guys!

Lindsay asked me to give you an update. I am going to have to post and run. She was able to get some sleep last night. Her grandma is hanging on but breathing is slowing down. Lindsay says the hospital staff is so nice to her and is making sure that grandma is comfortable. Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers.

Hello all! I hope i'm not the only one lurking around at this hour. I am looking for something quick, easy and portable that I can serve to our work crew tomorrow, approximately 5-6 people and one is diabetic. Nothing too heavy, but I am feeding big guys! There is not electric at the site yet. Thank you in advance!

Just want to let you all know I heard from Lindsay about 2 hours ago. She is still standing vigil with her grandma at the hospital. She has lots of support but is worn out because she has had very little sleep since Monday.

Two requests in a row! Now I'm just looking for dinner ideas for tomorrow. I have a head of cabbage and a package of bone-in pork chops. What can I do with that? Thanks!

I'm looking for a food item to take as a gift to someone who did me a favor. She lives alone, so probably not something as big as a whole cake, and she's a good cook, so not something that uses packaged mixes. And, since I'm super busy, not anything toooo complicated. All suggestions appreciated! Oh, also, not anything that requires refrigeration, since I'll drop it off at her work, and I don't know if she has access to a fridge there. Thanks!

Question: (3 answers)

Hello! As some of you know, I'm trying to launch Priscilla's GlutenFree Pantry, LLC and I've hit some roadblocks; money of course gets in the way of everything, so registering a business costs money, licences costs money, comercial kitchens cost money, vendors cost money, websites costs money, and it goes on. I have a promotional event coming up but not as big as an opportunity to vend at a gluten free expo coming up near me. Its a big opportunity with the over 2000 projected to be in attendance! Its 450 and If over a hundred people approach me i'll be able to break even in sales, not to mention opportunities to hand out business cards and such. Moreover its in June so I have time to think about it. Do you guys suggest I take the plunge and participate? I want to do as much as I can, but not blow all my 'loans' I'm at a crossroads. There are small vending opportunities to, but this is an expo! All advice is welcome!

Can you make corn bread on the stove top? I still do not have a working oven but I did buy the burner as suggested weeks and weeks ago. Can I make corn bread that way? I can't eat corn but am making cabbage and thought the boys would like corn bread. Thanks!

OK I know this is the saddest request ever. I need step by step directions to make iced tea, sweetened. I mean what brand to buy? How long to simmer? How much water vs tea bags. How much sugar every detail. Sad I know but I can't make iced tea.
