Question: (1 answer)

I am looking at the recipe for New Orleans eggplant casserole by Cassiopeia. The picture looks as though it has tomato in it, but there's no tomato in the recipe. Why? Should I add tomatoes?

Question: (1 answer)

I have a recipe for an herbal bread. I've made it 3 times and the first time I had no problems. The second and third times I made it, the dough was so sticky when I first poured it out on the board to knead it, I had to get my daughter to scrape off my hands so that I could work with it. It rises beautifully and makes two large delicious loaves. I wrote to the person whose name appeared on the recipe but she didn't answer me. Someone suggested that since it wasn't a problem the first time, it might be the humidity. I used more flour, but hesitate to add too much, as it might make it tough. Your thoughts will be appreciated. Thank you, Laura Johnson

ribby's breakfest cookies makes 1 1/2 dozen lg cookies done in under30mins! Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). 1. cream together until smooth: 1 cup butter, softened 1 cup brown sugar 2. mixing after each addition, add: 2 beaten eggs 1 tbs vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1 cup flour 3. add all, then mix until well blended: 3 cup granola(your choice plain or blended, i buy blended with raisins and almonds) 1 cup chocolate chips dash of cinnamon *** you could also add 1/4 cup of coconut and/or broken almonds*** 4. Drop by heaping spoonfuls onto UNGREASED baking sheets. 5. Bake for 13 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack, or eat directly!!! no more then 12 to a pan! they get pretty big and sometimes bake together, but easy to break apart with spatula! and boy are they good! TASTES AMAZING WHEN HOT, FRESH, AND DIPPED IN JAM! :) MMMMMMMM!
