ginger is asking: (3 answers)
I have seen gluten free cookie dough, pizza dough and pie crust dough in the store. Will you ever be able to produce your biscuit Like the Grands gluten free? I sure miss a good biscuit. Thanks, Ginger

If you want flaky type grands can't help. I had a box of biscuit mix to use up and wanted fluffy type so I used one of the angle biscuit recipes as a base and added the yeast. I divided in half and patted out then stacked, cut like scones, and let rise. They were nice and fluffy. Had to go look, now I gotta try this. Maybe use the gluten free Bisquick and try this Cook Illistruated method. http://www.thefreshloaf.com/node/11604/flouring-work-surface

I just saw a new book for gluten free cooking by Americas Test Kitchen. They perfected many recipes like biscuits for GF diets. You can find it on Amazon.com

I am not sure who you are asking the question of. When you state....'will you ever be able to produce your biscuits like.....' are you asking AR? Good to know they participate here this is a user forum for other home cooks.

sorry... they (AR) do NOT participate here....
