Chipotle, Beer, and Lime Roasted Pork Tenderloin

Pork tenderloin is roasted with beer, lime juice, canned chipotle chile peppers, and garlic to make a wonderful, crowd-pleasing dish.

I think the peeps that made it used 3 cans of peppers instead of just 3 peppers. I didn't have any problem understanding that part. I have thick cut boneless chops I want to use instead of the loins. Should I marinate and brown first then oven bake for about 20 minutes which is my usual way of cooking chops, or should I just bake? Marinate longer or you think an hour is long enough? Thank you!

I would marinade for 1 hour. Pork will get mussy if you marinade too long. Then bake for 20 minutes, see how they are for doneness and bake more if needed.

I think if you have time you could marinate a little longer. That will help tenderize them. Since they are chops I would brown them first. Not necessary but I love the nice carmelization on my chops. Recipe looks good!

I have time yet, dinner not till 6. Lilcat, I have never had problems marinating all day or overnight with chops and having mushy ones. I know chicken will start to 'cook' if you leave it too long in a really acidic marinade.
