I had made beef vegetable soup for DGS, asked if he wanted macaroni in it but no. Now DH is wanting soup with macaroni. I would prefer tortellini. What is your favorite soup to include pasta? Thanks for your replies.

This traditional pasta and white bean soup deserves the best Parmesan cheese you can afford. Use the rind to flavor the cooking liquid, along with onion, celery, carrot, ham, garlic, tomatoes, beef stock, thyme, bay leaf and pepper.

The family loves this one. I also add carrots, fresh basil and oregano. Great on a cold day.

Can work with this. He's not a fan of ham soups but could use stew beef. Thank you.

Love chicken noodle or beef noodle the most.

A few days ago I made leftover turkey soup with macaroni. LOVED IT!

Hi, something different. Cheers. Scottish Salmon, Tattie and Pasta Broth Your favourite mushrooms can also be added and different pasta, such as fusilli can be used 1tbsp Olive Oil 600g/21oz fillets Salmon - deboned & roughly cut 350g/12oz Tatties (Potatoes) - cut into wee cubes 150g/5oz Baby Spinach 1.3 litres Vegetable Stock 1 Chilli - finely chopped 1 Onion - chopped 2 cloves garlic - finely chopped 200g/7oz thin Macaroni In a large pan heat the oil and add the onion and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add the garlic, tatties and the chilli. Stir and add the vegetable stock. Simmer until the tatties are almost soft. In a separate pan fully cook the macaroni in boiling water then drain the water. Add the spinach and cooked macaroni to the macaroni pan and mix well. Add this mixture to the tatties and vegetables, then stir in the fish. Simmer for about 5 minutes or until the fish is cooked. Serve - delicious with warmed rolls and butter
