I would like to use homemade egg noodles in my tuna casserole, but I'm not sure if the noodles would cook correctly in the oven. Should I boild them first? Thank you

Yes, I would boil them first. Noodles need water to cook and your tuna casserole may not have enough moisture to cook them in the oven. However, it your egg noodles are freshly made and not like dry pasta and if your casserole is moist enough, it may cook correctly. I wouldn't like for you to waste beautiful homemade noodles by overcooking them! :)

I would just par-boil them for maybe a minute or at most two, drain and rinse them so they don't continue to cook, then add to casserole. This will give them extra moisture without over cooking . Hope it turns out well.
