Hello! We go back to Lebanon in the morning. Saw the diatician and diabities educator today. We hope Carolyn gets the seond drain out tomorow! I do have a question-turns out Carolyn has low sodium and I was wondering what I can do to fix this? I do not like using salt if I do not have to and many times I just omit salt alltogether. Should I now add salt to our food? About how much? Does it matter if it is table salt, kosher, sea salt, etc? Lucky Noodles, thank you so much for being here for Carolyn!! Hugs!!

This emerald drop snow tea is inspired by The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe movie and is a nice warm beverage to sip while watching.

Hey! Been sending my prayers up for you both! Having a cup of tea and hopefully getting rid of a sore throat and fever. No idea what to do for low sodium, high I can talk about! Different salt is different but don't know how to explain (if I am even right!). Drains can come out when the collection is less than 5 ml? I cannot put my finger on my folder. . . . Gentle hugs!

you don't have to add salt to your dishes. let her add some to hers, and pick up some salty snacks for her such as black olives, snack crackers, boiled peanuts, and chips. she can snack on some of these items and will help bring up her sodium level.

another thought, cup O noodles, and the ramen noodles will have loads of sodium along with canned soups.

Drink less water/coffee/tea. It dilutes the sodium in your body

I would ask the doctor if it needs to be corrected, then ask the dietician how to go about it.
