can you use leftover beef au jus fer a broth in a slow cooker to cook more meat? wanna make another batch of pepperoncini beef fer freezer..have left over au jus from 2 days ago with same recipe..

Yes, but it will be more concentrated, so you might wanna dilute, some, depending on the flavor and amount. But, if you're asking if you can recook with it, in general, yeah, as long as you've refrigerated it. :)

heidi - Absolutely! I put my leftover jus in the freezer all the time for using as a soup base. Sometimes I even keep adding the jus from different similar meals to the same storage dish in the freezer. For example, if I make lamb in my slowcooker 3 different times, I will have enough jus (stored in the freezer) to have an awesome lamb soup base. Good luck with your experimenting!

ohh, thanks! appreciate it! I seriously enjoyed the flavors of the pulled beef..an honestly? I looked like a rock star in my husbands an kids eyes!! I like that feeling..its definitely a stockin of the freezer week this week..been cold here..im in comfort mode..appreciate yer comments MRS J an KENI!! im runnin out to get me some chuck..haha!

Go heidi go! To the tune of Inspector Gadget. I have a little container on the freezer door to save celery tops and bits of onion and parsley. My Poppy still saves potato water in a jar in the frig. for stock or whatever. Old school cooking. "Waste not-want not." (:

Good one redly. I keep forgetting to do that . For some reason the ends just wind up in the trash . Must pay better attention to things like that . :)
