I have a friend of mine that gave me some papapys and they are not ripe yet. She took them off her tree so the animals wouldn't eat them. So my quesiton is I live in the woods and have sun light in the house but not enough to rippen the fruit. If I take it outside the animals will eat it. So is there something else I can do to get it to rippen?

Nowwww this is only a thought, could you place papayas in paper bag and have them ripen that way, checking them everyday?

Not sure but certainly worth a try! Thank you.

This sounds silly but try putting the paper bag on top of your fridge. It's warmer up there.
