The chicken and dumplings did not turn out good that I am planning to bring to my BIL and SIL that just had a baby. The arozo con pollo is great. I need a backup plan. I've been up since 3:00 am thinking about this and its not 4:20. I have more rice and some pasta.. Broccoli, peas, corn and mushrooms. Probably some other veggies I just can't think right now. My pineapple dessert didnt pan out either turns out I only have 1 1/3 cups of flour. I do have yellow cake mix if you have any ideas. I'm ready to get up and start cooking!

Hi Jess. I'm laying here awake too. Since4am. What about a pasta, like a fet-alf that you could add your veggies to? (Not the corn). I don't save a lot of pasta dishes so I'm not much help there. I also don't use cake mixes but I'll go searching and see what I find. I'll be back!

Pasta might work. I have 2 leg quarters out I'm planning on using. Maybe I could use the drippings and make a gravy and shred the chicken and mix it all together. I have to get this all done soon bc I have another family member having a baby shower today I have to go to before we go to his brothers. I still haven't decided if I'm going bc of my mil but I'm going to plan on it. I wanted to get up at 3 and start cooking but my husband would have thought I had lost my mind lol ill give it another 30 min. That's his normal wake up time :)

How bout this? U really don't need the cherries and no flour required. I know you have pineapple! Sorry this isn't going well for you. It's a new day! Today will be better!

I am making this today, the ingredients are pretty simple and has great reviews. I would love if someone brought this to me. Just a thought.

Good morning! Looks good! I don't think I have corn syrup though. I hope you enjoy!

You can do this with any canned fruit pie filling. I've done it with apple, peach, and lemon. I'm going to do it soon with key lime for a friend's birthday. You can leave out the nuts. I think the reviewer said she didn't bother with the frosting. [I would only use this frosting with apple pie filling . . .]

I don't think I have enough of the ingredients. I will save it though!

I'm sure your SIL will enjoy anything you're willing to send. Just not having to cook a few meals will be a nice break for her.

This pumpkin dump cake is just as easy as the classic. With spiced cake mix and pumpkin puree, you'll have a tasty fall treat ready in a jiff.

Not sure if you have pumpkin . . . I like this as well with a yellow cake mix as with the spice cake mix . . .
